3-D Lego Birthday invite

My son who is a Lego fanatic wants to have a Power Miner's Lego Birthday Party. So even though his birthday is not until August I thought I would get a jump on them, because this summer is so busy I wasn't sure I would have time right before his birthday to put them together.

I used the Pop template that was in July's Stampin' Success Magazine, which is totally simple! My son picked out some images on Lego.com, did a little editing and cropping to get just the right pictures.

Here is the front, I used Tangerine Tango, Basic Black card stock, and I used the word window punch for the "you're invited" that I printed out on my computer.

In order to hold the card closed I used self adhesive magnetic dots that I got at a Teacher Supply Store.

Here you can see the placement of the magnets.

Here is how it looks when start to you open it up. On the inside right panel you will notice that I only used adhesive on the top diagonal so that the picture in side did not have a crease.

In order to keep the right panel open I used the magnets again.

And here is the invite when it is completely open!

Sunday Morning's Demo Swap (Make & Take)

Good Morning Everyone!

I wanted to share that for this month's Demo swap Challenge I chose to create a simple outline and let my fellow Demos at it. I am very excited to see what everyone come up with and especially since we will be getting together for a make and take!

Happy Birthday Merrigrace

Here is a card that I made for my Upline's Upline for her birthday. Funny thing is I forgot to take a picture of my card before I mailed it so I had to wait until Merrigrace posted it...Thanks Merrigrace.

I had a lot of fun coming up with this one using Top Note, Birds & Blooms and Card, Telephone & Address Clear die. For the flower I actually peel the card stock apart to give the flower more full look.

Box Bag

I put this bag together for my son to give to his preschool teacher at the end of year bbq. It was simple and quick and just the right size to fit a few mine stamps in there.

I used the Box #2 Die and Clear Card, Telephone & Address Die with some Designer paper and card stock. The handle I used some 5/8" grosgrain ribbon.

Hope you enjoy, I know my son teacher did!
